We could certainly write facts and figures about Kenya, but to be honest, there are all sorts of well-known Internet sites on which the statistics can be found. For our part, we will give you some personal impressions and assessments of events along the way.

First of all you should know that Diani is a coastal region, a 10 km long sandy beach, with a fringing reef almost on the equator. So for all sun worshipers and water sports enthusiasts amongst you, it is advisable to wear sufficient sun protection. You are offered a fantastic event, the ebb and flow.
At low tide, you have the opportunity to collect shells or small fish and search for reptiles in the water holes between the corals. The offshore reef (about 300 m), prevents a strong wave impact at high tide, there for the beach remains widely intact.
The supply network around Diani Beach has a positive development to show for the recent years.

Nevertheless, there are still many social development deficits in the country as a whole.
For this reason we have decided that it makes more sense to support the locals directly with material things, for example.
